The Texas Coffee School Brewing Methods Class is an exciting 1-day coffee course that focuses on the fundamentals of quality-oriented coffee brewing. Using today's most popular specialty coffee brewing devices, students will gain the skills essential to perfected coffee brewing. Understanding the primary factors that affect coffee extraction and learning the technique associated with quality-oriented coffee brewing is vital to brewing consistently great tasting coffee, and knowing how to troubleshoot if it isn't. (Believe it or not, poor tasting coffee is often a result of improper brewing – not necessarily bad coffee beans.)

This coffee class is broken into two parts. In the first half of the day students will learn the theory, process, and technique associated with quality-oriented coffee brewing through hands-on experimentation and tasting.
