The Texas Coffee School Espresso & Milk Skills Class is an exciting and very hands-on 6 to 7-hour, 1-day barista training class that focuses the fundamentals of quality-oriented espresso and espresso-based drinks. Participants will gain insight into espresso history, as well as the science and craft behind it. Topics will include grinder and espresso machine fundamentals, grinder adjustment, proper espresso distribution and dosing, tamping technique, shot timing and extraction, proper milk steaming and texturing, pouring technique, classic drink preparation (espresso, cappuccino, latte, macchiato, Americano, mocha, and flavored latte), equipment cleaning, customer service, and much more. Our classes provide ample hands-on lab time with expert instruction.
This barista training class is perfect for working baristas, coffee shop managers, home coffee enthusiasts, or anyone looking to further their barista skills.
