Tom Vincent

DALLAS, TEXAS – Tom Vincent is the Founder and CEO of Texas Coffee School. His coffee journey began in 2006 with a two-year apprenticeship at a leading East Coast specialty roaster, where he immersed himself in barista skills, shop operations, and teaching. He learned the coffee business from the inside out under some of the most respected names in the global industry.

In 2008, Tom moved to DFW just as the financial crisis cut short his corporate advertising career. For a year, he struggled to make ends meet, working in coffee shops and taking day labor jobs. That season of hardship, followed by a chance encounter, pushed him to finally pursue the passion he had carried all along. In 2010, he poured every last dollar into launching Texas Coffee School.

What began as a one-man venture built on passion and grit has grown into a nationally recognized leader in coffee business education. Tom created the original Coffeepreneur® curriculum by blending his coffee knowledge with real-world entrepreneurial experience. Over time, he built a team of full-time educators whose industry expertise strengthened and expanded that foundation. Today, the program continues to fuel the success of hundreds of coffee businesses around the nation.

For Tom, the true reward is visiting the thriving coffee shops students have built and seeing how those businesses transform lives, families, and communities. That impact is the heart of Texas Coffee School.
